Alec's first film score. This is one of Alec's best albums and includes the full length 16 minute version of the brilliant "Trocadero suite" and the disco classic "Grooves". It's a shame this latter track was never released on 12" and the version on the album is less than 4 minutes long.

Raymond Knehnetsky, of Paris Connection, also worked on this album

The film itself was filmed in Paris in 1978 and concerns the childhood trials of growing up in the 1970's... The film was directed by Michael Schock.
