Love And Kisses was Alec's own studio disco band and this first album was originally released on France's Barclay label. On this label Alec had already produced successful French pop acts Dalida and Claude Francoise.
Alec sung some of his own vocals on this two track LP, and as usual Alan Hawkshaw is on the keyboards. Other regulars include background vocals by the Birds of Paris. "I've found love (now that I've found you)" was a disco favourite in 1977 and the long album mix inspired disco dancefloors around the world. This track was also covered by Rei Vera. |
