Cerrone is a famous French disco producer who recorded his first album Love in C minor back in 1976. The title track from this album became a huge disco hit in France and pretty soon after its release it was played in discos the world over.

Cerrone continued to release disco albums in the remainder of the 1970's and early 1980's. His other noteable hits included "Cerrone's paradise", "Supernature", "Je suis music" and "Club Underworld" (in the 1980's). He also produced "Phonic" for Cristal and "Got to have lovin'" for Don Ray.

Alain Wisniak co-wrote the tracks for Cerrone after this debut album, but Alec R. Costandinos co-wrote Love in C Minor and Midnight lady.

The picture of Cerrone on the back of his first album (see below) is so obviously stuck on to the photo of the girls. Actually, outside Europe this album cover was considered soft porn, thus giving rise to the famous US "tattooed hands" cover (below).
